"finally did something for myself! I have been "dreaming" of getting rid of my fat tummy for a long time...too long! I got a referral from a friend and I am so thankful I just went for it. I have always talked myself out of it with the, "it’s too expensive", "I don’t want to be under anesthesia" and "It’s fine the way it is". What I learned was that it was affordable with the financing options, I did not have to go under general anesthesia, and it was perfectly tolerable for me to be sedated for a quick procedure. I met with the consultant for Liposuction with JPlasma skin tightening, and she was lovely and informative. I had some follow up questions and she took my call right away and was able to help me. Then I got to meet with Crystal and Dr. Bansal and they are so easy to talk to and came up with an action plan that was right for me. I was a little nervous the day of, but the awesome nurses at Elite MD put me at ease and got me comfortable right away. I was so impressed with the level of care, it is so different from any other practice I went to over the years. After the surgery, I went home and slept for the rest of the night with zero discomfort. My 20 year old daughter was able to care for me and help with drains, food and helping me walk around a bit. For me there was no pain during the procedure and very little discomfort following, I was on medication, but also numb in the procedure area. "Dr. Vivek Bansal, Crystal, and Elite MD staff gave me life back! Elite MD makes you feel like family and are in constant communication before, during and well after procedure. There is a 24/7 concierge service for patients. Overall, an extremely educational experience, the most caring doctors and staff - the best in their field!9 years ago I was decently fit, running 5k’s, and working my way up to a 10k. As life happens, over this time, several changes occurred in succession. I injured my ankle during the last 5k, diagnosed with breast cancer (currently a survivor after lumpectomy), suffered a miscarriage, went through menopause and too many other life-altering adventures to list. Not to mention, I have scoliosis and rods in my spine constantly working against me and I have to push through to stay healthy and active every day. With all the set-backs, I didn’t know who I was anymore. As though I had woken up in someone else’s body and somehow 9 years had gone by. I ate healthy and worked out and did everything I could to get back to me. I hit a wall. Somehow, I had gained excess belly fat I never had and could not seem to make it go away. I seemed to injure my back trying, which wasn’t helping, before I could see any results. I felt ’stuck’. Always looking in the mirror with the thought of " if I could just erase this part" like live photoshop, that would be great. I had always researched new technologies and several facilities across California, but was never sure if these procedures where right for me. Then I came across Elite MD in Danville. I started the consultations around June 2022. The consultation was very educational, no upselling or pushy about scheduling. It was always up to me to continue conversation and move forward or not. I continued asking questions and getting more educated over several months and opted to have Vaser Lipo with JPlasma skin tightening on December 28, 2022.One major concern was that I did not want to be under general anesthesia and was happy to learn a local would be used and pain and recovery minimal. I say ’minimal’, but recovery would be minimal based on me doing the required work. As Dr. Bansal says, we do our 1/3, you do your 1/3 and the universe does the other 1/3. And sometimes like me, you go above and beyond. I am beyond thrilled to say that I am down 20 lbs! Dr. Bansal removed 12lbs from upper abdomen, lower abdomen, flanks, and tightened the skin. I have worked away 8lbs just by changing my diet! I am now 7 weeks out from procedure and have only done some light yoga and brisk walking. I had minimal bruising, drains in for only 7 days and no major pain. My abdomen has never been flatter and more toned. I now have only slight discoloration and am healing daily. Amazing work! Elite MD gave me a jump start and my life back to the point where I could take control and continue this journey to the best me of my life. I am going to be 49 and surely am not feeling it! I met with Dr. Bansal and he said he would perform my tummy tuck; that he wanted to help me. I'll never forget it. He told me he would take care of me as he would his own family which made me feel at ease; that I was going in good hands. The procedure was performed at a surgery center in San Ramon. I was happy with my results back then and still am happy at present. It was the best decision I made for myself as I was able to wear all types of clothing. This boosted my self-confidence. I'm so grateful that I found Dr. Bansal and that he was willing to help me.Fast forward, post pandemic, now early 50s, I started looking into a thigh lift since I was unhappy with the skin laxity of my inner thighs. I was impressed by what I saw on an Elite MD commercial advertising JPlasma aka Renuvion (a skin tightening procedure) and I called to see if this could be done on inner thighs. After talking with Vanessa and meeting with Dr. Bansal, I decided to go with the JPlasma and a little lipo instead of an invasive thigh lift. The procedure was scheduled to be done in-office under local. I was a little nervous as what to expect (would I wake up during the procedure or feel any pain while the procedure was happening) but I took the medication prescribed to me prior to surgery and fell asleep. I didn't feel or remember anything at all. Woke up at home in my bed. I would definitely do in-office again over general as my experience was good and I didn't get sick like I do coming out of general. I am now post-op 5 1/2 weeks (went back to work after week 1) and am happy with how my legs are looking--the line/shape of my legs that Dr. Bansal created is pretty and the JPlasma did tighten my skin. It keeps getting better and better each day. They now use a software called Klara which tracks all messages and someone always responds, either office staff, Dr. Bansal himself, or Vanessa (Vanessa responds even after hours and on weekends and am super happy with her customer service--the best). Now I'm confident that my messages will be read and responded to in a reasonable amount of time. I cannot tell my story without sounding like an infomercial, but I will try.My journey started over 24 years ago with my first child being born by C-section and few years later having a second child which destroyed my abdominal area. Since 1995, I've struggled to lose weight and get in shape; with no real success, because of the damaged nerves in my lower abdomin. Try as hard as I might the excess, loose skin would never change. In 2005 I was told that my only option was a tummy tuck, but I wasn't sure about it. Fast forward 11 years, I've lost about 18 pounds (178lbs) and dropped to a size 10, but that darn flap of skin is still with me. I saw an ad on TV for Elite MD and called for a free consultation; best decision I could have made. Though I lost 2 sizes on my own, and looked good in the right outfit, I was a sloppy jelly roll.
