Dr. Adrian House, M.D.

Dr. Adrian House, MD grew up in the Tri-Valley of the San Francisco Bay Area and earned his medical degree from Boston University, where he served in several roles, from Editor of the BU Whorl Creative Arts magazine to Professional Dissector and Instructor for head and neck anatomy at the BU School of Dentistry.

He then completed his surgical internship and specialized Otolaryngology- Head & Neck surgical residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he published several scientific manuscripts and book chapters focused on Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

While serving as Chief Resident, he was awarded the Best Clinical Research Award and received the prestigous UCSF Catalyst Grant for medical device development. Dr. House has two US patents related to implants and devices combating inflammation in the head and neck. Prior to medical school, he received his undergraduate degree from University of California, Davis, and completed a master's degree at the Boston University with a Biomedical Engineering thesis in conjuction with The California Institute of Technology (CalTech).

Education & Training

Through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. House was selected for the highly competitive fellowship in Beverly Hills with world-renowned surgeons, Dr. Paul Nassif, Dr. Babak Azizzadeh and oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Guy Massry.

While training with Dr. Nassif, Dr. House studied and performed complex revision rhinoplasty, rib and ear cartilage harvests, and deep plane facelift surgery with the star of the E! show, "Botched".

With Dr. Azizzadeh the founder of the Center for Advanced Facial Plastic Surgery, and President of the Sir Charles Bell Society, he immersed himself in the latest medical and surgical management for facial paralysis, helping patients regain the ability to smile and restoring a sense of normalcy to those affected by Bell's Palsy, Ramsey Hunt, and other facial nerve injuries.

With Dr. Guy Massry, he perfected the art of brow lifts and upper and lower blepharoplasties, with a focus on cutting-edge lower lid fat repositioning.

INTERNATIONAL SERVICE

GLOBAL HEALTH EXPERIENCE

Dr. House has a lifelong passion for service and is actively involved in global health outreach.

In 2009, he co-founded the Walk-A-Mile-In-My-Shoes program, a movement to bring donated shoes and clothing to impoverished communities in Belize City and Ambergris Caye, Belize. In 2011, Dr. House met with the Minister of Health of Belize, Hon. Pablo Marin, to ensure duty free transportation of goods from individuals and several organizations in the US. Since then, 24 trips have been completed to deliver donated goods to many local families and businesses. These efforts were superseded and amplified by BelizeKids.org, a US 501c(3) organization run by the owners of Canary Cove on Ambergris Cave.

In May 2022, he was nominated to the Global Smile Foundation, an organization that provides comprehensive cleft care for patients in underserved areas around the world. Studies have shown that untreated cleft lip/palate can have serious consequences for a child's physical health and development. Dr. House's most recent trip with the organization was to Trujillo, Peru, during which 60 procedures were performed on 39 children affected by cleft and palate malformations. He has a dog, Hamilton, and resides in the Bay Area with his wife, Sasha.
