I want to thank each member of your staff for the outstanding, considerate, professional, and kind serve you've provided! Especially Dr. Bansal of Elite MD, he has single handedly improved the quality of my life! Dr. Bansal is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with years of experience, training, and an emergency room background. His manner is delicate and precise, and his wisdom and experience combine with that manner to provide the optimum serve personally designed for each client's specific needs! Dr. Bansal, with the attentive assistance of the staff at Pure Essence, performed the "Active FX" procedure on me on February 14,2009. Here it is a mere 10 days later and my results are phenomenal! Absolutely phenomenal. There are no other words for it! I literally look 5 to 7 years younger, and this is just the beginning! The results of this laser process will continue to improve for up to six months! It's simply the most exciting process I've ever been through, and I have never been happier. To someone considering this procedure, I can personally attest to Dr. Bansal's expertise. Perhaps if you've had Botox in the past and were happy with it, like I have, well, you can multiply that level of happiness by about 10 after the "Active FX" procedure. I could happily say I had never suffered any health issues, albeit an occasional sprained ankle or bruised ego, so when I stepped into "Dr. Sonia's" Dermatology booth at the 2008 LPGA CVS Challenge, my expectation was to get a brief mole inspection, stamp of approval, and carry on with my enjoyment of observing some of the best golf in the world. Just moments later, after the doctor's simple and quick scan of my skin, I found myself walking away with an appointment card for a follow-up exam. A few weeks, a couple of short exams, and some simple biopsies later, I was diagnosed with early-mid stage melanoma {the deadliest form of skin cancer}. Had I not been checked by Dr. Badreshia-Bansal's at her greenside venue in September, by as early as the next spring I could have been facing lymph node issues and perhaps radiation treatment of a metastasized cancer. Instead, due to the early discovery, I underwent a more preferred outpatient procedure by surgeon Dr. Vivek Bansal to remove a cocktail-coaster sized slice of skin, excising all signs of the cancer. Going forward, I am hoping that the scar on my arm will be a reminder for me and others to wear my dermatologist approved sunscreen and a reminder of how the CVS Challenge at Blackhawk Country Club saved my life, because of Elite MD and Dr. Sonia Badreshia-Bansal.

"Dear Dr. Vivek and Dr. Sonia Bansal, I just wanted to THANK YOU and also the Organizations that support your patients! When I met you and your wife, Dr. Sonia Badreshia Bansal, a couple of months ago, I felt like my facial Bells Palsy and Hemi Facial Spasms would be in the best hands; literally! Dr. Vivek and Sonia knew that I became permanently disabled in 2004, after reading my medical history. I have multiple medical reasons for my permanent disability. I have medical insurance, but even though the reconstruction of my face was not a cosmetic procedure, my insurance would not pay for it! Dr. Vivek worked a miracle in one office visit, financially and physically, with the reconstruction of my face in one hour, with no cutting and minimal pain. The first week, there was a little bruising, but by the second week, it was gone. Both doctors stated that it might take 3 to 6 vials to make a difference. It took one office visit to just get my face diagonally straight. Which, is a MIRACLE, as in the last eight years, I had low self-esteem, due to my face not being the same! Dr. Vivek, I sincerely appreciate what you did for me, and have no problem helping anyone else. They can email call or e-mail me. Please realize I have had Bells Palsy for eight years. Every six months, I would pay out of pocket $1200.00 to fix the right side of my drooping eye and my right mouth. The entire right side was droopy! I never had great or good results from several cosmetic doctors! Bell's Palsy and Hemi Facial Spasms are very tricky to deal with, and one mistake can cause major problems. There are very few "Board Certified Plastic Surgeons," who specialize in this field. Patients need to be very careful when receiving any treatment for any facial conditions. I went to a lot of "Certified Cosmetic Surgeons," who actually made my face even worse! I also had to pay them $600.00 for certain areas that they could use Botox and another $600.00 using a filler. I do have insurance, Medicare with United Health Care. I am also considered low income, but this is something I have to have to eat, drink or for my sight, as, I cannot swallow or see out of my eye, without this treatment. Food and water use to fall out of my mouth, and my eye never closed; so I had very blurred vision. Dr. Vivek Bansal, you are an excellent "Board Certified Surgeon," and you don't promise a "Miracle," but you delivered one for me! I cannot thank you or the supporters of your research enough! "During my first facial visit months ago {my aesthetician} alerted me to a suspicious area on my forehead that she recommended be checked by a Dermatologist. She mentioned an upcoming free skin cancer screening at her Spa to be conducted by Dr. Sonia Badreshia-Bansal of Elite MD. I attended, and the same spot on my forehead and another on my chest were identified as suspicious. Dr. Badreshia-Bansal then advised me to see my primary care physician for further evaluation. My primary care physician referred me to their Dermatology Department, and the appointment process alone took several months. The Dermatologist assigned stated the spot on my forehead was definitely not cancerous, but the spot on my chest likely was. However, he said it was not the type that would spread internally and many people go through their entire lives not even aware they have skin cancer. He offered to biopsy the one on my chest if I liked, but said I would be left with a scar. Not comfortable with his advice (essentially to do nothing), I returned to Dr. Sonia Badreshia-Bansal of Elite MD for her opinion. She performed biopsies of both areas and Basal Cell Carcinoma was detected in both. This type of cancer is the least dangerous of all skin cancers, but it can be disfiguring if left untreated. Dr. Badreshia-Bansal and her plastic-surgeon husband, Dr. Vivek Bansal, removed the cancer from the affected areas in a timely and effective manner. I now realize how important skin examinations are and will have regular monitoring visits with Elite MD." - L.W.
On February 14, 2009, Dr. Vivek Bansal of Elite MD performed a fractional CO2 laser resurfacing on my face, and I am ecstatic about my results! Daily! It's easy to be so grateful because it is continuing to improve, and will do so up to six months! It's amazing to think I'm not even at my best yet! The response I've received from people has been fantastic. Naturally, it feels great to have friends and family compliment me so effusively.
